Bouchard Pere et Fils, Chapelle Chambertin Vintage:2013 while the Vecchie Viti is(from purchased grapes in Chapelle proper). Somewhat more moderate wood and menthol characters are present on the spicy liqueur like aromas of plum, black cherry and earth. The suave and opulently textured middle weight plus flavors possess a wonderfully seductive mouth feel before culminating in a mocha inflected finish where a touch of warmth appears. This isnt quite as vibrant as the best here though its still certainly attractive. (91 93) 2025+
