The entire top surface of the specimen is covered with many sharp well formed calcite crystals. Some are a frosted snow white ball shape which sit amongst a sharper sparkly druzy calcite. It is in excellent condition. Calcite is found throughout the world in sedimentary, metamorphic, and igneous rocks. Some geologists consider it to be a "ubiquitous
