Modus novus SA(TB) + piano All this with music atMODUS NOVUS Studies in reading atonal melodies is an attempt to tackle the problems with the reading of 20th century music that is not major minor tonal. It has been evolved out of the authors practical experience as a teacher in aural training at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm. Text in English, German and Swedish with musical examples from Bartk, Blomdahl, Martin, Schoenberg, Bck, Stravinsky, Hindemith, Berg and others.
